About

A common theme emerged as I worked in various mental health settings. People wanted to be treated with kindness, respect, without judgment or stigma. They were trying their best but were sometimes misunderstood, or made what loved ones saw as wrong choices.

Most desired to do better, and did so with the right combination of treatment and a warm caring person to hold space for them when needed. Someone to support and cheer them on to the finish line.

As an ANCC board certified psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner, I have worked with families and individuals of all ages and complexities, especially when there are behavioral difficulties and aggression. I also diagnose and provide specialized care in the unique challenges of children with Autism and ADHD. Additional certification as an integrative mental health professional allows me to integrate  a variety of alternative treatments to address unique needs.

I have learned to listen, while exploring with you what appears to be turbulence and chaos until the quiet of the storm is reached with or without medication. Allow me the opportunity to partner with you on your journey to better health.
